September Prayer Calendar & Partnership Update

In 2021, WMUV began praying with our sisters in ministry in New York. In the same spirit, we would like to extend an invitation to prayer to women in Virginia, and we welcome anyone interested in praying more to participate. We believe prayer changes things - read below for ways to engage with us:

Monthly Zoom Prayer Meetings

Join our zoom calls with Gwen and the Prayer Partnership team on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. Our next zoom meeting is Tuesday, September 6 at 7 p.m.

SEPTEMBER PRAYER REQUESTS

Can't join us on zoom or by phone for prayer? Download our WMUV Prayer Guide with a daily prayer request and join us as we pray together each day for our ministries, communities, and world as a collective. Read the prayer requests below, or click below to download the prayer guide and a scripture printout.

1. Pray for Unity.

2. Pray for all of our WMUV Ministries.

3. Offer prayers for our local, state, and national leaders.

4. Pray for Jenee’ Shearin, WMUV Missions Strategist, and the Sisters Who Care Council that they may continue to reach other women.

5. Pray for Lucianne Warren, WMUV BOT President, as she continues to do the work of the Lord.

5. Pray for a successful school year and that no hurt, harm, or danger will come to anyone in the school system.

7. Pray for Sara Hubble and all the CrossRoads staff.

8. Pray for the SBC on their stance against women, and that God will prick their hearts.

10. Pray for the Alma Hunt Offering, and that people will give.

18. Pray for Valerie Carter-Smith, Executive Director/Treasurer as she leads WMUV into a new direction.

21. Pray for the Hope Team, as they continue to equip the church to address mental illness with grace.

29. Pray for Esther Shin, Multicultural Strategist and Marisa Sanchez, Missionary to Hispanic Communities
