June Prayer Partnership Update

In 2021, WMUV began praying with our sisters in ministry in New York. In the same spirit, we would like to extend an invitation to prayer to women in Virginia, and we welcome anyone interested in praying more to participate. We believe prayer changes things - read below for ways to engage with us:

Monthly Zoom Prayer Meetings

Join our Executive Director/Treasurer in this prayer opportunity, which will consist of a scripture reading and a prayer leader each Wednesday morning from 6-6:15 a.m. beginning Wednesday, March 8.

1. Pray today for peace in our homes, communities and around the world.
2. Pray for children and student pastors and volunteers.
3. Offer prayers for our local, state, and national leaders.
4. Pray for Jenee’ Shearin, WMUV Missions Strategist and Sisters Who Care Council that they may continue to reach other women.
5. Pray for Lucianne Warren, WMUV BOT President, as she prepares to take a team to serve in Peru.
6. Pray for each volunteer going to Peru as they prepare to sow into the life of others.
7. Pray for Sara Hubble, Operations and Pastoral Director of CrossRoads as she prepares for the opening of summer camp.
8. Pray for the 25 Summer Camp Staff that they will have good physical health and that they will bond together.
9. Give thanks to God for the volunteers who came to help clean up CrossRoads during volunteer weekend.
10. Pray that God will move within all the campers and guest that come for the summer sessions at CrossRoads and that no hurt, harm, or danger will befall on anyone.
11. Pray that the summer needs of CrossRoads will be met through donations.
12. Pray that donations will continue to come in to fund Campaign 140 for the replacement of the Deck in Hunt Hall.
13. Pray for Unity.
14. Pray for all of WMUV ministries.
15. Pray for the Prayer Partnership on Facebook.
16. Pray for a leader for BNF here in Virginia.
17. Pray for the Baptist General Association of Virginia and their work with Virginia Baptists.
18. Pray for Valerie Carter-Smith, Executive Director/Treasurer as she leads WMUV into a new direction.
19. Pray for Leadership Development within the WMUV.
20. Pray for young people becoming involved in missions.
21. Pray for the Hope Team as they continue to equip the church to address mental illness with grace.
22. Pray for all WMU Directors.
23. Pray for the WMUV Board of Directors as they govern the work of the WMU of Virginia.
24. Pray for church and associational WMU Directors.
25. Pray for missionaries around the world.
26. Pray for the CrossRoads staff that everyone that they come in contact with will see Jesus in them.
27. Pray for Sandy Wisdom-Martin, National WMUV Director in Birmingham as she leads WMU.
28. Offer prayers of praise to God for God’s goodness.
