Nourishing Hope: Feeding Hearts and Minds in Peru
FEEDING FAMILIES IN NEED
Our team in Peru packed and distributed food bags filled with essentials like rice, pasta, grains, and vitamin drinks to families facing food insecurity. Each bag was more than just nourishment—it was a tangible reminder of God’s love in action. Your support can help us continue to feed those in need. A small gift goes a long way toward making a big impact.
EMPOWERING WOMEN FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE
In partnership with Monte Sion Church, we hosted their first-ever women’s conference. We covered important topics like first aid, healthy relationships, grief, and self-worth. The women left feeling empowered and equipped with practical knowledge to care for themselves and their families. Your generosity can help us continue to bring hope and healing to women in marginalized communities.
JOYFUL MOMENTS WITH CHILDREN
Our puppet shows, crafts, and music brought smiles and laughter to preschool and elementary-aged children in Peru. Through storytelling and creative arts, we shared the message of God’s love with these young hearts. Your gift will help us continue to touch the lives of children through creative ministry.
PROVIDING CLEAN WATER TO SCHOOLS
Access to clean water is a basic necessity, yet many schools in Peru face water quality issues. We distributed water filters to schools, ensuring children have safe water to drink. Help us provide more clean water solutions to these communities with your donation—every drop counts.
Peru Mission Trip 2025
JOIN US ON A MISSION TRIP TO PERU
We invite you to be part of a life-changing experience as we serve alongside Villa Milagro and Monte Sion Baptist Church in Cajamarca, Peru. From July 11–19, 2025, we’ll partner with these ministries to support their work with some of the most marginalized in the community.
Why Peru? Our mission is to bring hope and practical support to those in need. During our time in Cajamarca, we’ll engage in a variety of activities including:
Working with children through crafts, games, and music
Assisting with food and water filter distribution
Teaching basic first aid
Visiting orphanages and remote school
Encouraging women through crafts and fellowship
Who Can Volunteer? We are seeking 15-20 adult volunteers who have a heart for service. Whether you love working with children, leading music, or simply supporting others, we have a place for you. No special skills are required, though the ability to speak Spanish is helpful. Youth are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
What’s the Cost? The estimated cost for the trip is $2,350 - $2,950, which includes airfare, in-country expenses, and travel insurance. A commitment to fundraising and prayer will be key to preparing for this mission.
How to Apply: The application and $50 registration fee are due by February 3, 2025, with additional payments due in March, April, and June. Accepted applicants will be notified by February 17, 2025.
