Search Committee for WMUV Executive Director/Treasurer Invites Participants to Listening Sessions
Following the announcement of Dr. Valerie Carter-Smith’s retirement as Executive Director/Treasurer of Woman’s Missionary Union of Virginia (WMUV), a Search Committee has been appointed to seek an Executive Director/Treasurer gifted and called to lead our organization into the future. The Committee is composed of the following:
Chair, Lauren Pillow, Vice President/Secretary of the Board of Trustees of WMUV
Rev. Cadence Tyler, BGAV Campus Minister at Longwood/ Hampton Sydney in Farmville
Claudia Hatfield, WMU Director of Shenandoah Association
Rev. Kenny Daniel, Pastor of Colonial Beach Baptist Church
Karen Stokes, Retired Army nurse, active in WMU’s Sisters Who Care, Baptist Nursing Fellowship, and a Faith Community Nurse at Mt. Zion Baptist Church
Ex-Officio member, Lucianne Warren, President of the Board of Trustees of WMUV
The search committee will hold Listening Sessions for anyone interested in expressing thoughts concerning the Executive Director/Treasurer position. This will be a time for questions, to voice opinions, and to provide input for what positional aspects are most important for the next Executive Director/Treasurer of the WMUV. Please join us via Zoom for the second and final Listening Session on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 10 a.m. by registering at the link below.
