9:40 am - 10:10 am: Morning Worship – Dr. Janet Copeland (Praise and Worship) & Christina Holmes (Liturgical Dance)

10:10 am - 10:30 am: Keynote Speaker – Rev. Ralphetta Davis, WMU Director of CMBA

10:30 am - 11:50 am: Exhibitor Village

12:00 pm - 12:50 pm: Lunch & Fellowship

1:00 pm - 1:50 pm: Shared Session I with Q&A Kim B. Miller, Poetic Inspiration

1:50 pm - 2:00 pm: Mission Project Spotlight

2:00 pm - 2:50 pm: Shared Session II with Q&A – Alicia Jones, Black Women and Mental Health

3:00 pm - 3:35 pm: Afternoon Worship & Keynote Speaker – Dr. Janet Copeland, Christina Holmes, & Rev. Ralphetta Davis

3:35 pm - 4:00 pm: Closing/Sending Activity (Prayer)

T-shirts: $15 each (Sizes XS-4X). Place your shirt order by March 24th to be able to receive it at the conference.

Missions Project: Little Hands Virginia

This year, we will support Little Hands Virginia by donating baby essentials. Please bring new, full-sized items to the conference:

  • Baby Soap

  • Baby Lotion

  • Diaper Cream

  • Baby Wipes

  • Hooded Towels

  • Wash Cloths

Donations can be in individual items or packed in a Ziploc bag.

Conference Faculty

Rev. Dr. Janet K. Copeland
Dr. Copeland is the Associate Pastor at St. John Baptist Church, Richmond, VA. She holds an Honorary Doctorate in Sacred Music and a Doctor of Ministry in Preaching. She has led international missions and has been recognized for her service.

Rev. Ralphetta E. Davis
Associate Minister and Women’s Ministry Director at Concord Fellowship Baptist Church, Columbia, SC. She also serves as WMU Director for CMBA and is certified in Contemporary Christian Preaching.

Christina Holmes
A senior at Virginia State University studying Mass Communications. Christina is an award-winning praise dancer and has been a member of the university's gospel chorale since 2023.

Alicia Jones
Director of the Admissions Office at National Counseling Group, Alicia holds a master’s in psychology from Walden University. She is the First Lady of Bethany Baptist Church in Montpelier, VA, where her husband, Rev. Dr. Patrick H. Jones, serves as pastor. Alicia is passionate about empowering youth and families.

Kim B. Miller
Prince William County Poet Laureate Emerita, Kim is a dynamic spoken word artist and published poet. She has been a keynote speaker at events like the 2024 Women Impact Virginia Summit and TEDx Nokesville. Kim is also an author and facilitator, dedicated to promoting the arts.

Exhibitor Registration

Exhibitors:
$35 – Includes booth space. Optional conference entry ticket: $20.
T-shirts available for $15 each.

Exhibitor Deadline: April 4th. Exhibitors must sign the exhibitor agreement and send to jshearin@wmuv.org.

Please note: Exhibitors must set up by 10:15 am on April 12th.
