What’s a Faith Community Nurse?
A registered nurse (RN) who has been prepared in holistic ministry and provides special health promotion services within a faith community. Their work focuses on the intentional care of the spirit for the population they are serving. This retreat is followed by a ten-week pace set online course which will provide the learners a certificate of completion.
DATE: May 20-22, 2022 (Retreat)
LOCATION: CrossRoads Camp and Conference Center, Lowesville, VA
COST: The course tuition and materials will be paid for by the Bonham Parish Nurse Scholarship funds at the Woman’s Missionary Union of Virginia. Students are responsible for room and board.
Single occupancy: $231.00
Double 0ccupancy: $188.00.
CONTINUING EDUCATION: Earn 36.5 contact hours (CEs) for 10 week course.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Current license as a Registered Nurse
• Clergy Reference attesting to spiritual maturity
• Computer specifications and basic computer skills
