CrossRoads Camp and Conference Center is a modern year-round conference center owned by WMUV. The property is located on 606 acres that borders the George Washington National Forest in Lowesville, Virginia. Whether used for retreats or summer camp, the majestic Blue Ridge Mountain views and tranquil sound of the Little Piney River create the perfect atmosphere for:
Enriching relationships Spiritual development
Renewing vision Self-awareness
Responsive commitments Experiential learning
Since 1985, CrossRoads remains dedicated to providing a quality summer camping experience for children and students. In addition, there are available opportunities for shorter family camps, coed camp weeks, girls’ camp weeks, and leadership development for teens and summer staff.
Missions remains an important component of camp. International student missionaries spend the summer and missionaries or missionary families interact with campers each week. A missions offering is collected each summer toward a specific goal. Campers are also impacted through an attempt to integrate missions education into daily summer camp activities and conversations.
CrossRoads offers opportunities to use your gifts and passions in service to this ministry. Groups and individuals are invited to assist with all types of volunteer projects throughout the year. Some examples include painting, carpentry, trail maintenance, prayerwalking, cleaning, and volunteering to serve during a week of summer camp.
