On February 26, 2010, WMUV signed a partnership agreement to launch WMU of India (WMUI), marking the first international partnership for WMUV.

As the 48th international WMU India is ready to empower women and children across the country.

India is predominantly Hindu, and ranks second in population in the world. Reaching the women and children of India today will yield a tremendous Kingdom harvest in the years to come.

The Executive Committee of WMUI continues to develop ways in which they can expand their network across southern India, and are focused on Andra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamilnadu as the first three states in which to develop local Chapters.
